The Restore Breast Program

The Godek Center is well-known for its comprehensive approach to care. We believe that our commitment to patients begins at the first visit and continues indefinitely thereafter. We strongly believe in continually monitoring our patients’ progress after surgical procedures to ensure long-lasting results. We proudly offer concierge-level services to our patients that provide extra preoperative and post-operative care that can enhance results and the overall treatment experience. To further expand our exceptional level of care, Dr. Christopher Godek is proud to launch a new and innovative concept here at the Godek Center: This all-encompassing program is designed to focus on overall breast aesthetics and wellness for our past, current, and future patients, and it is yet another way our board-certified plastic surgeon is providing the world-class surgical excellence that patients have come to expect from him.

We are excited to bring to this community a novel program that will provide comprehensive, long-term plastic surgery care to our cosmetic and reconstructive breast patients. - Dr. Christopher Godek

What Is the Restore
Breast Program?

This program is designed for both those who are considering their first breast surgery and those who have had breast surgery from another practice in the past but have not attended regular follow-up breast exams in the years since. It is important for patients who have had cosmetic breast surgery in the past, especially breast implant placement, to see a breast surgeon for a routine exam at least once per year in order to determine whether there are any concerns or potential irregularities. Once-a-year exams are best for you and your breast health!

Restore Breast Program welcomes you for evaluation by our board certified New Jersey plastic surgeon if you have had plastic surgery elsewhere in the past. Members of the Restore Breast Program receive the peace of mind that their breast wellness is on track before a potential complication arises. Plus, staying in close contact with your plastic surgery team keeps you up to date on leading-edge advances and news in other areas of aesthetic & anti-aging medicine.

Annual Consultation and Breast Exam with Advanced Imaging Technology

The importance of regular professional breast examinations for cancer screening purposes with your primary care provider is well known. However, less commonly discussed is the importance of an annual breast implant exam with a breast surgeon for patients who have breast augmentation in the past. The Restore Breast Program’s annual consultation and breast exam will assess your overall breast wellness as it pertains to plastic surgery with a comprehensive evaluation, which may include both 2D and VECTRA® 3D imaging (a way to show patients the potential results of breast surgery before the treatment has even been performed), as well as advanced ultrasound diagnostic technology (described below).

These services can monitor your existing implants on a yearly basis to check for rupture or fluid collection and evaluate the current condition of your breasts. The first annual consultation and breast exam can also help guide patients to the breast surgery procedure that is right for their needs and goals, whether it be a breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, or revision of a prior procedure. We want to help patients maintain the best possible breast health long into the future. Regardless of whether you choose to have surgery or not, our program recommends yearly evaluations.

State-of-the-Art Ultrasound Imaging Services

Using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, Restore Breast Program members receive an annual imaging exam to assess their breast implants to a greater degree than a physical exam can provide. Using an in-office ultrasound, our experts look for signs of implant leakage or rupture, capsular contracture, implant positioning issues, or the potential need for future procedures. This innovative imaging technology is capable of showing irregularity which cannot be identified on physical exam alone, allowing our breast surgeons in New Jersey to determine the best course of action for breast health and aesthetics.
