Avéli™ is an innovative cellulite treatment procedure that can address an extremely common and frustrating skin condition: cellulite. This minimally-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment from Revelle Aesthetics is designed to effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite in the buttocks and thighs of adult women by targeting the root causes of the condition, ultimately helping to give the skin a smoother look after only one treatment session. With Avéli™, our experienced treatment providers here at The Godek Center for Personal Enhancement can reduce signs of cellulite by utilizing a procedure that does not require extensive downtime!

Minimally Invasive Treatment

What is Avéli™ Cellulite Treatment?

Avéli™ is a minimally-invasive cellulite treatment procedure designed to diminish the appearance of cellulite on the thighs and buttocks. Cellulite forms when connective tissue bands (“septa”) pull the skin down and cause localized dimples and depressions to form. Avéli™ utilizes a small device inserted into the area of cellulite, which severs these bands and releases them. By directly targeting these connective tissue bands, Avéli™ can help the skin become more even and smooth.

Greater Accuracy with Avéli™ Cellulite Treatment

What does the Cellulite Treatment involve?

To begin the cellulite treatment, a local anesthetic will be applied in the targeted area of cellulite to minimize discomfort. After you are fully numb and comfortable, the handheld Avéli device will be gently guided under the skin, where it will target the particular septa bands causing signs of cellulite in a specific area. The device can then sever and release the bands. The Avéli™ technique is designed in such a way that allows your provider to verify that the problem septa bands have been released as the treatment is performed, increasing the potential for greater accuracy and effective results. While the total treatment time will depend on the size and number of areas being addressed, the procedure can often be completed in as little as one hour for many patients.

No Extensive Downtime

What can I expect during cellulite treatment recovery?

Most patients can expect some degree of bruising, mild soreness, and possible fluid drainage in the treatment areas after the Avéli™ procedure; however, these effects should dissipate over time. Extensive downtime is not typically necessary after a cellulite treatment. In fact, many patients are able to resume non-strenuous daily routines within the first 24 to 48 hours, depending on the size and extent of the areas that were treated. With that in mind, patients should refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise or activities for a while after treatment. Our team will provide you with detailed recovery guidelines to help ensure optimal healing.

What can I expect from the results of a cellulite treatment?

The full results from your cellulite treatment should begin to become visible within one month following the procedure.

Maintaining your Avéli™ cellulite treatment results

Avéli™ treatments tend to be long-lasting. In clinical trials, patients who were assessed one year after their cellulite treatment saw continued cellulite reduction.
